This free program is presented by Wausau Metro Strong in partnership with the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, the Greater Wausau Chamber of Commerce and Northcentral Technical College. Area law enforcement representatives will present strategies on how to protect yourself in your workplace and in your personal life. Lieutenant William “Will” Stuart and Deputy Matthew Bell of the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office will present this program which is open to the public. Garrison Ledbury, Homeland Security Program Manager and Non-profit Security Grant Program Manager with Wisconsin Emergency Management will provide an opportunity for businesses, faith-based organizations and non-profits to learn about grants and funding opportunities to make needed safety improvements at their facilities.
