The UWSP Museum of Natural History Collection Crawl event for the community will be Saturday, April 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The event is a wonderful opportunity for children and families to enjoy hands-on activities and learning. Collections are on display inside the Science Building, Trainer Natural Resources Building, and the Chemistry Biology Building. Stamp your event passport and turn in at the Science Building, 2001 Fourth Ave., for prizes. The featured museum collections are paleontology and geology. Get tours of our NEW rock and fossil exhibit.
Event participants can use microscopes in the museum Discovery Room, play trivia and check out the friendly live animals cared for by the university Herpetology Club. Go behind the scenes at the museum where future spaces are under construction.
In addition to the exhibits, families may enjoy a show inside the Blocher Planetarium, located on the second floor of the UW-Stevens Point Science Building. Show times are below:
