Scavenger hunt ideas

Kids big and small love searching for treasure. There’s something about following the clues, one by one, anticipation building as they get closer to “X.” You might not have the time or desire to dig a hole in the yard, but that doesn’t mean your kids can’t go on an adventure right now. Here is a resource I've used for ready-made treasure hunts at our house. They can be done inside or better yet - outside. And once you do one, your kids might get creative and make their own! ~ Emily

Bad things that can happen when we wait:

W - worry

A - anger (which worry often times gives way to)

I - (you feel) insulted (how dare you make me wait?!)

T - tempted (to do or say things we'll regret, or worse, lose hope)

The same acronym gives us some things we can do instead:

W - Worship.

A - Appreciate everything God's done

I - intercede (pray) for others

T - trust

4 practical, positive things we can do as we wait on God.
