desire is to motivate women into a deeper relationship with Jesus, to initiate friendships with other women, and to be a
light within their home, workplace, and community. Arise! Luncheons bring ‘spiritually hungry’ women together for a
time of filling – with delicious food, uplifting fellowship, and a fantastic message. You can find more about Arise! at
Our inaugural speaker on September 19th is Lori Slaughter, Lead Pastor of Living Well Community in Wausau. Lori will
open the 2019-20 Season with her message “What Next?” Often times we find ourselves asking that question… and we

Lori Kampschroer Slaughter is a Wausau Native and a 1990 graduate of Newman High School. After an encounter with
Jesus during her college years in Madison, Lori sensed a call to ministry and went on to attend Bible College in Tulsa. Over
the past 20 years, she has ministered the Gospel throughout nine countries and over four continents. She’s worked at Teen
Mania Youth Ministry taught Jr. and Sr. High School students in a Christian school, and spoke at many women’s
conferences. Lori is currently serving as the Lead Pastor at Living Well Faith Community in Wausau.
Besides her family, Lori’s passion is to equip and activate people to live in their divine destiny; loving others the way Jesus has loved them. Throughout her journey, Lori has learned the pitfalls of comparison and the overwhelming suffocation of performance. Come laugh with Lori, and be set free to be your unique self in Christ!
