Lights of Christmas

Results for Culver’s Day Lights of Christmas 2020:

Wausau: $3798.34
Rothschild: $2589

89Q, Culvers, and area law enforcement officers partnered together for “Lights of Christmas.”  Wednesday October 21st, Culvers locations across north central Wisconsin donated 10% of their proceeds for the day to “Lights of Christmas.” That money will be used to purchase gift cards for area businesses that area police officers can carry in their cars to help out someone in need during the cold winter months.

The Lights of Christmas program was established in the Wausau and Rothschild communities last winter. Local police officers are given prepaid gift cards to area grocery stores, retail stores, convenience stores, fast food restaurants and more. The officers will distribute to those in need as they encounter a need during the cold months. This year, we have expanded police departments to include Stevens Point, Plover, Marshfield, Antigo, Merrill, Medford, Wisconsin Rapids and Marathon County Sherriff’s Department.

“The Wausau Police Department is proud to once again partner with 89Q in its Lights of Christmas campaign.  Thanks to the leadership of 89Q and its generous partners, officers were able to distribute 157 gift cards over the last 12 months.  Each gift card afforded an officer an opportunity to make a positive difference by brightening another’s day.” – Captain Ben Graham (Wausau PD)
