Where to camp in Wisconsin

County Campgrounds often have availability and are hidden gems in my opinion. So check with those. Yes, State Park Campgrounds fill up quickly. But there are still spots open! I like searching by date and letting what is available choose our destination. On the Wisconsin State Park camping reservation website, you can enter the dates you want to camp and how you are camping - tent, rv, etc and then see what is available for your dates. Enjoy! ~ Emily

Plant Native Species

The Wisconsin DNR wants you to give your yard a pollinator-friendly makeover! They say non-native plants might look nice, but they don’t do much for the ecosystem. On the other hand, native plants—like blazing stars, goldenrods, and spiderworts—are like an all-you-can-eat buffet for bees, butterflies, and moths. Here is a list of native species you can plant!
