Are You Rich?
Will Smith was the highest-paid actor in Hollywood last year, according to US business

magazine Forbes. The I Am Legend star earned $80m - Cameron Diaz led the ladies'

charge by topping the highest-grossing actress table with takings of $50m. The magazine

pulled together lists of Hollywood's big earners for its special Entertainment All Stars

issue. Smith, Johnny Depp and Eddie Murphy were the best paid Hollywood actors in the

past year, according to the magazine. Smith, 39, made $80m (£40m) between 1 June

2007 and 1 June 2008, thanks to films like I Am Legend, Hancock and The Pursuit of

Happyness, for which he was nominated for best actor in the 2007 Oscars
.

God's Story is about His son who died on the cross to save us from our sins and eternal death. Once we have received His forgiveness and we pursue a relationship with Him, we become rich beyond measure. Ephesians 2:8&9, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast." Will Smith will only be able to enjoy his monetary riches here on Earth. When he passes from this world to the next, he can not take it with him. Nothing we have in this life lasts forever, except for our relationships with other believers. The wealth of Christ we all can receive last forever too. We are all called to store up our wealth in heaven. Matt 6:19-20, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal."

You may wonder how we store up our treasures in heaven. One of the best ways to do this is to share the Good News. That is what the apostle Paul did. He was not ashamed to tell others about Christ. You can share the gospel and love of Christ by teaching others about Christ, inviting them to your youth group or Bible studies, by doing mission work and kind acts for others. There are so many people who don't realize that God is just waiting to make them rich with His grace and mercy. His riches are available to anyone who is willing to surrender to Him. If you are already rich is Him, be sure you are sharing the Good News with others, storing up your treasures in heaven. If you are desiring immeasurable wealth with the Savior, won't you pray to accept Him into your life today? Go to www.needhim.org to take the first steps to be eternally rich.

Final thoughts...

You can no more outgrow your need for God than you can outgrow your need for oxygen.
