PURPOSE: Earlier this year we were hit with “ransomware” that destroyed most of our documents. We have recently upgraded our IT hardware and software. The upgrade will protect vital files. If you choose to use this golf tournament as way to help us raise money for the cyber security upgrade we will reward you.
FORMAT: 4- person scramble.
OPTIONAL FUNDRAISING = INCREASED CHANCES TO WIN. For every $25 you raise above the $100 fee we will take one stroke off your team’s gross scramble score. The maximum allowable reward is five strokes (per player) or $225.
Let me highlight a few of the exciting features. Keep in mind all our golfers receive full use of a riding cart, free banquet food (your spouse too) and plenty of other great prizes.

Businesses and churches can once again benefit from supporting you in the golfathon. 89Q is willing to acknowledge their support with one thirty-second announcement for every $15 in support with a minimum support of $100.
We’ve raised about $5,000 in last year’s event and paid off the studio software and hardware upgrade. Money from this year’s Golfathon will go toward final costs related to our cyber security upgrade.
